Fast-food, high-calorie diet, and not so healthy food is what we eat daily. There is no shortage of restaurants, cafeterias, take-away’s, but we forget that we are not having someone planning that meal for us. Everybody is just concerned about their money, and no in-depth thought about the nutritional intake that others miss.
But, that’s not the case anymore at least for Tennessee folks. Ebony Knight’s passion is healthy cooking, and she has turned it into her profession as well. She is a Foodservice Distributor in Cordova, Tennessee.
And loves to plan a meal for her clients based on their dieting and fitness choices. Here are her excellent tips if you are looking to cut those carbs, and maintain your abs.
It All Starts With What You Eat
What and how you eat your daily meal is very important for carrying out routine work. A healthy breakfast, a low-calorie lunch, and a well-cooked dinner are out of choice if you work for 72 hours a week. You simply play with your body and its requirements of vitamins. A fast-food restaurant will not be able to supply those minerals and vitamins which you are missing daily. Thus, you need to be careful and plan your daily intake according to the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA).
“When I graduated culinary school, I returned to Memphis to work. A few years later, after working in restaurants throughout the city, I realized that healthy choices were minimal on the menus. I also understood that the choices were not as appetizing as the unhealthy ones, and therefore were not being selected often,” says Ebony.
Plan Your Meal With Ebony
Ebony is not just any other cook in the city. She has her concepts clear. She is here to help and shape healthy meal plans for everybody. Knight further adds “Research showed that Tennessee had one of the highest obesity rates in the country, with Memphis having one of the highest rates in the city. I felt bad for my city, for my patrons! It was at this moment, my idea of Time To Feast Personal Chef Service was born.”
She also quotes that, “The full personal chef experience includes creating a specified menu for the client, shopping for high-quality ingredients, cooking the meal, storing the meals in sealed containers with reheating instructions, and cleanup. “
Now, the only other person who will actually do this is YOU. But, since you’re busy with office work, Ebony does it for you. She understands and knows what is best when it comes to planning your meal on daily notes.
Create Your Food Box With Flavor
Diet-conscious folks, and one who is looking to control the fast-food impulse love Ebony, and her idea of healthy intake. She is here to make diet charts for you, with what you like to eat. And also how much intake of spot-on minerals, and vitamins are there in your food.
She says that “Packages range from $300 to $2000, depending on the number of people I’m cooking for and the number of meals prepared per week. Time To Feast has given me a chance to promote nutrition and wellness for my community through clean eating. My clients also can eat healthy without sacrificing flavor.” Bingo! This is what matters to me if I’m going on a diet plan or cutting the daily intake of fats and carbohydrates.
How To Chart Your Perfect Diet Intake?
“It’s easy-cheesy, and the trick is to plan with your body mass and weight loss in mind. But that doesn’t mean to go all boiled food. You have to do exercise, yoga to cut those layers of fat,” says Ebony. Her instruction is to think like you are just on a regular diet. Once you start acting okay, the food starts making sense. Eating after 7 P.M is not good for your digestion and metabolism to kick-in effectively. Grab some healthy snacks if you start getting food cravings. Keep nuts around your office, gym, and home. Start your day with a healthy and light breakfast. Don’t eat too much of oily or greasy foods. Don’t even look at junk food, as it will only fulfill the craving, but not give you the strength you need.
Grab High-Fiber Food
Fiber is very important when it comes to what your body needs. Make an avocado mush to support your hunger pangs. You can spread it as an alternative to mayo on your whole wheat bread. It’s an excellent tip for healthy fat, fiber, and vitamins for your daily intake. Say NO the noodles in your chicken soup, and enjoy it with quinoa or barley to increase protein and fiber additionally. To add more healthy taste, include chopped fresh cilantro or parsley, and a few drops of lime juice and hot pepper. See, it didn’t take you hours to get started with an awesome after-gym munching.
Healthy Makes You Wealthy
This is a hot-throb for all meal and diet conscious people. Your office-work stamina will go bonkers if you are unwell or sick because of an insufficient diet. Your focus will be nil if you are starting your day with no food at all. Coffee is good, but taking it on an empty stomach is just a welcome call for sickness. If not today, then in near-future. Instead, take a milkshake or smoothie to brighten your day. Take an early morning walk, and drink at least eight glasses of water on an empty stomach. Water gives life to your body and helps in digestion. It is a natural help to cut-off any impurities, and clear your blood.
Make Your Own Salad
Roger that with a big YES guys. Ebony says that “All baggy salads are just another risk for your body. The older the salad, the more the salmonella bacteria will be part of it. You increase 110 percent chances by risking your body and health by buying bagged salad”.
Instead, take some fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and olives. Chop them into small cubical pieces and sprinkle salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Your own fresh salad is ready to be gobbled-down. A healthy veggie salad is the best source of minerals, vitamins, and active digestion. And, yes don’t eat fruit before a heavy meal, it destroys the very purpose of eating fruit.
This Is Easy
Healthy eating is easy if you let Ebony plan and shop it for you. She ensures to not cut taste, while at the same time covers your diet requirements. “I love good and tasty food. But I’m also mindful of what is right and what is not. My passion for food has made me stand out and help my community better, and I know just the recipes that will help me in shaping their daily eating routines”, says Knight. Well, that does settle me at least, as I just have to call her and place my order, or maybe ask her to plan a diet-plan and start making me those healthy snacks to beat unhealthy choices.
