I don’t mind paying if it gives me a better return. All my life, I just focused on studies, growth, and career. Girls were there as friends and mentors but not in the way of having a relationship. Anyhow, we all do this. Sometimes it is just us, and sometimes it is just that it doesn’t get us the time we need to CLICK. Back to Its Just Lunch Scam – the whole plan came with a charge of $2,000 for me. Which, of course, I paid gladly. I filled in a form and contract as well with the payment. And, guess what? I also got a direct sales rep or what they call it “a matchmaker” as well.
What I Thought I’ll Get VS What I Actually Got is It’s Just Lunch Scam!!
Like any other young man of my age, I was of the view that I’ll be happy and frankly get involved with a date that will be matching my mindset. I had the happily after thoughts running in mind. With other perks as well. Like, I wanted to have a healthy, friendly and understanding relationship. I was hoping to have color, music, and butterflies all over me. But, alas! That doesn’t come in easy. There was no such hope. Because I never landed into any yes or nay date.
I Fall Under 40% Americans Trying Online Dating
There was a time when online dating attracted a lot of folks. However, there is not much stigma left in it as was there in the past. Roughly 40 million Americans are using dating apps and sites to meet new people. And, if you look at it, we also like to connect with new people on social media sites as well. I was horrified when a person approached me over LinkedIn – a strictly professional site. And, this approach wasn’t related to any opportunity, mentorship or just job seeking. It was pure friendship and dating connection.
Dating & Why I Wanted To Jump To This Phase?
My whole life has been a simple pledge to work, work & work. I do take time off and travel as well. But, dating is not my cup of tea. Like, I do speak with girls and like to appreciate all the hard work, professionalism and mentorship that comes as an added bonus. But, being someone who actively starts getting involved in relationships, etc., isn’t my game of chess. Therefore, I thought and thought to give this part a chance to grow and see where I land with it. Letting a pro help me find a professional girl of my liking kind of felt like a silver lining. And, now I’m stuck in the middle or if I put it simply – I’m still where I used to be 10 months ago.
A Good Stepping Stone?
This is what keeps me confused. One cannot be good at all the things that he or she do. And, relationships are like your kids. They need time, energy and care to grow. You need to water them daily and then only they grow and sprout leaves of beauty. Online dating is something that allows you to actually get it all done in simple steps. But digital relationships don’t last that much except a few exceptions. My grandma used to say, ” One needs to invest in every relation to make it last.” And, this statement of all things keeps me on the edge. So, am I ready to move on?
Yes, You Do Get To See Misses & Fixes
So, I was finally drawn out of my shell and asked to date. If not directly then indirectly. “This is going to be easy-breezy”, I thought. And, if you look at all the steps – they’re easy. You get to simply sign up, use your cc or dc. And, boom! All set. I became an official member of It’s Just Lunch Scam matchmaking/dating site. As far as I was concerned, my initial reaction was that these guys are understanding and very much have a view of my whole situation. Being a career-focused dude – I never thought about girls in a soft corner kind of way. So, it made sense if someone else got me hitched with the person who can or could be a professional exactly like me. This and much more did make sense to what I wanted v/s to what I’m hoping to get.
A Digitally Crowded Compatibility Is Always A Fix
Needless to say, but in today’s timespan, you’ve got to be set up with things that are automatic and also full of perks and benefits – just like a highly paid job. Now, people like to create online profiles with personal and professional details. This allows them to instantly connect with like-minded folks and you never have to look back. This instant connection sometimes can be fruitful and harmonious. And, sometimes negative and full of stupidity as well. Because not everything that you see online is going to be a sparkling gem. Furthermore, one traumatic experience can lead to severe drawbacks as well.
Professional Dating VS Old-School Dating
You saw a girl, you both instantly clicked and you’re off to dating to get to know each other better is just the old-school dating method. Whereas, if you look at it from a professional approach – you are actually going to like to click with someone professionally matching your profile. Now, don’t start racing your horses. What I mean is that one gets to know the other person only after being able to meet him or her. And, if that first meeting is off to a good start – it all easily clicks and falls into place. Like just any other romantic movie we see.
What Happens With Professional Dating?
But, with professional dating, you actually get to meet someone who is involved in a profession similar to or near to yours. This again makes a lot of sense because you get the idea of how it feels like meeting YOU. And, if you’re bored or a bit jittery – you get to confront the elephant in the room. Sometimes, you don’t easily start a relationship just because you – yourself are way too complicated. This is one thing you need to focus on if you’re planning to settle down with someone. However, if you are just looking for one-night stands or short term flings – then you need to mention these things in your profile or be open to the person you meet. Rebound dating is not something I have personally experienced. But, yes it is something that does make dating sound horrible.
Next Comes With NOTHING Being Highlighted
So, I got in touch with this lady called Udonna from It’s Just Lunch Scam, and she made sure that I do sound comfortable with her sales pitch and fake promises. Those did get to me initially. However, there was nothing else that added color to the whole situation. And yes, if you thought I got the perfect match – then you got to e kidding me. I signed up with Its Just Lunch guys around February 2019. And, to date, there has been no real or fake date in my life. Furthermore, this whole back and forth catchup also gave me mental stress as well as frustration.
Now, I’m All Ears To Understand What Went Wrong & Why?
After getting nowhere with a professional date from It’s Just Lunch Scam despite asking for numerous months – I had to get seriously involved. I now had to do my research and get to the bottom of this mystery. I started doing my research on It’s Just Lunch Scam company. And, what I found not only shocked me but is also bugging me. The reason is, I found out that I got no explanation. Why was I charged and not returned with my money even if these guys failed to deliver results? There is no proper official response. Their customer services suck. And, yes they also failed to acknowledge why they couldn’t deliver despite charging me of $2,000.
Shockers Beyond Schokers When You Meet It’s Just Lunch Scam
My findings couldn’t be more troubling than finding out that It’s Just Lunch is already facing a lawsuit for the exact reason that I’m outlining this article. Their own employees are calling them scammers. There are tons and tons of reports filed against them. If you look at it, I’m stuck in a situation with no way out. Unfortunately, I’m also charged with an amount that isn’t even being refunded. I thought only a guy could get this in return for his hard-earned money. But, I was wrong. It’s Just Lunch team did the same with ladies as well.
I’m Still Fighting With It’s Just Lunch Scam
This whole journey has been nothing but kind of torture. I still don’t have any response, apology or date in my bag. The team of It’s Just Lunch Scam is still avoiding my calls and emails. Even my expert matchmaker guide is not bothering to clarify the situation or refund me the amount they charged. And, this whole fiasco has led me to believe that I’m better being a singe then to get experts without benefits. It is good to be introduced to friends of friends through mutual connections. Though, I’m not going to give up on dating – I’m going to try my luck again. But, of course, not through a paying dating site. Have you also faced something along these lines?
